Don’t walk into that building — the sprinklers might go off!

(My Thoughts:)

I kind of don’t know what to say about this one as there can be just so many answers to it. For one, if the sprinklers are going off, does that mean there not turned on? And for two, is it talking about the fire sprinklers in the building and not the grass sprinklers? Just not much of this pick-up line really makes sense.

Fire Sprinkles

Now, my mind is thinking about fire sprinklers and if they will turn on when you light a match. I mean if you spark a match and at the sprinkle, will it turn on? In other words, I always question if they are going to work or not. Sometimes I feel like they are just display. Other times, I think of the movie Hocus Pocus when Max tries to light one up. If you haven’t seen that movie I highly suggest watching it and it came out in 1993.

Into the Building

Nowadays with all the buildings falling down because of not made correctly, it is perhaps better to not even walk into the building.

I kind of get the point of view of this pick-up line but it sure is stupid to begin with. I’m not even sure why it made it to my list of pick-up lines. Perhaps, I want to share just how stupid this line really is, and it is better to not use it on someone than to use it.

It’s kind of like saying: “Don’t walk into the building, the lights will turn off.” I mean does it make sense or not? In a way this makes more sense because if the lights turn off than you can kiss. (LOL) Maybe, if the lights turn on it would sound more of a pick-up line.
