As much as you might have heard the health clinic advice people to eat or drink carrot juice. I believe the same goes for dogs as carrots are just too good for the heart. One day I was drinking carrot juice and my dog was just going crazy and barking. So, I decided maybe I should just give her a little. Anyway, first time I was giving my dog carrot juice I noticed just how much she loved it. You can simply just give carrots as well, however as I drink carrot juice I tend to buy carrot juice most of the time.

One Ingredient

The most important thing is to make sure that it is just carrot juice and nothing else. You don’t want to give anything else as it may have added sugar in it. I usually buy my carrot juice from Costco which comes in a pack of 3 and is organic. On top of that it is just one ingredient and that is carrot juice. Sometimes, I buy it from VONS which I believe is not organic but it’s still one ingredient. However, mainly I buy from Costco or other stores which have organic version of it.

Mimi

During Covid-19 at the year 2020 I took my dog to the Vet because she wasn’t breathing good. Anyway, she had a heart problem which they gave her Vetmedin medication for her health. Sadly, 4 years later my dog Mimi passed away at age 18.5 years old. However, she lived her full life full of happiness and love. We gave her the best care and full of love and she gave us the same back.

As I know how healthy carrots are for the heart and my dog has heart condition, I knew just what she needed: “Carrot Juice.” Therefore, every week I gave her tiny amount of carrot juice and she basically drank it with me.
