“Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.” – John 3:18 ESV

I want to start by defining what condemned means in the dictionary. According to Merriam Webster it means 3 things:

  1. declared to be reprehensible, wrong, or evil.
  2. pronounced guilty and sentenced to punishment – especially sentenced to death.
  3. officially declared to be unfit for use.

Since this is from the bible, the first one seems like the right fit for this passage. In other words, I think condemned is referring to evil.

God

I think there are few Gods out there and not just one and that they all work together. But they have sent Jesus to Earth to pass the message to us from them. If we don’t believe in him then we are from the evil because the works he did, it’s hard to not be able to believe. The passage and the words that Jesus shared with us is one that is from above. No other words can express his life on Earth other than that he was sent to us from the Gods.

Son of God

For those that want to learn more from a movie, there is this film called, “Son of God.” I remember watching the film on Netflix or Amazon Videos, but you can buy it from Best Buy. Anyway, check out the movie and you can learn even more what took place thousands of years ago. The director of the film is Christopher Spencer.

I also just want to mention that we are on the year 2022 right now and this is the year after Christ. Meaning, we started counting this numbers after Jesus and so on. The fact that we are counting this numbers, proves that there is a reason why we are on the year 2022.
