Sometimes there are sticky plants sticking to dogs paws when you are walking them. This is usually not knowable until it happens and just happens more often than you would think. A lot of times there are different types of sticky plants or weeds and when dogs go on them, these sticky plants stick to dogs furs. For this reason, it is important to check your dogs paws after walking them. Why am I saying paws? Because that’s the area that is not visible unless you check. Other parts, such as the furs are usually noticeable as you can see them. But the paws are a tricky area because they have a hole in the middle which it’s in that hole where the sticky plants end up in.
Check Your Dogs Paws
Get in the habit to sometimes check your dogs paws to make sure nothing is stuck there. In this video, I was trying to take the spike off of my dogs paws. Sometimes, it is a struggle trying to take the spikes out as they stick to the furs. But with patience, it is easier than it seems. Just be careful to not hurt your dog in the process as you might move the leg around. Keep the leg in place, and patiently try to take the spike out.
Mimi
Sadly, Mimi has passed away on April 17th of 2024 and it was very hard for me to put this video together. However, I wanted to help those out there to check their dogs paws as sometimes spiky plants just stick to them. Mimi passed away at age 18.5 years old from natural age. She ended up getting stroke and we rushed her to the vet which they put her to sleep peacefully so she doesn’t suffer. Thank You Mimi for everything you gave to us and the love we gave you. THANK YOU!
