I got this Imperial Taste Multi-Grain Crispy Rolls from Costco which came in an unbeatable price for $11.99. This is not available at the Costco website, but I checked Amazon and they are selling it in Amazon too for $19.90. Super great price at Costco and it comes in a pack of 125 inside the bag. 180 calories for 3, and they are individually wrapped too which makes it only 60 calories for 1 roll. What can I say? At first, I loved this, then the egg filling in the middle kind of started to get to me.

Multi-Grain Rolls

The first few that I had was just absolutely lovely, after a bit later some awkward taste started to kick in. As I looked at the bag, I noticed this have an egg filling in the middle, which is what started to get to me. The egg filling kind of tastes like the yellow part of the egg and almost dominates the entire taste.

Confusing Grains

As on the bag it says it has 7-grains, when I look at the cover of the bag, I noticed it has 10 different items. I’m not sure exactly what these 10 items are, I’m just assuming 7 of the 10 is grains, making 3 not grains. I’m not sure which are grains or not, but I wish it was exactly clear what the grains really are in the ingredients.

I like how this are baked and not fried. Crunchy feeling is super amazing, and it gives me little bit of goosebumps. Everything is great about these rolls, except for the eggs in the middle. I just wish it was empty in the middle as the grains crunch taste is amazing. If anything, I wish it had like a jam filling or peanut butter filling instead of egg.

Energy

Something in the back of my mind tells me that the eggs are there for a reason. As if there is some sort of chemistry or energy that is provided by the grains combined with the eggs. I’m not exactly sure, but again I wish it was peanut butter and jam filling inside or no filling at all. This is product of Taiwan, and I got his because I feel like I might consume some nice vitamins from some grains I don’t eat on regular basis.
