Costco Food Court gets a new item and this time it’s a Turkey Swiss Sandwich. It basically replaces the Roasted Beef Sandwich which I think the Turkey just tastes a bit better. The price is $6.99 which is pretty expensive when it comes to the Food Court. I really think the price should have been 50% cheaper as Costco is known for low prices.

Turkey Swiss Sandwich

At first this may seem big but as you grab into it, it’s pretty small in size. It almost feels like you ate a 6-inch sandwich from Subway. As it’s not that small, it just is perfect to eat it with bunch of sides to get full.

It Contains

  • Bread
  • Oven Roasted Turkey Breast
  • Swiss Cheese
  • Sun-Dried Tomato Spread
  • Mayo/Mustard Spread

Tomato Spread

Basically, the only thing saving this sandwich is the Sun-Dried Tomato Spread. Why? Well, because that may be something new to someone who never has tried it before. At the same time, most likely you have already tried it in an Italian dish but just not have noticed it. Well, try this sandwich and you can just taste how good Sun-Dried Tomato Spread can be. It tastes sweet and tends to dominate the taste of the sandwich. Pretty sweet!

Basic

Overall, the sandwich is pretty basic with not much ingredients going on. I really think they should have added some onions, large cut tomato, pickles, and bacon. With all these ingredients along with what it already has, it would be something more unique and well worth the $6.99 price tag on it. Otherwise, just a basic tasting sandwich that has a sweet tomato taste to it.

Do I recommend it?

Not really, unless you want to taste what Sun-Dried Tomato Spread would taste like. On the basic side but I like it as it’s pretty good.

It just doesn’t really feel like anything is new here, just basic sandwich.
