The wait is finally over as this Municipal Podium Slides are now available at municipal site. I been probably waiting for these slippers for around 5 to 6 months now. Every time on Instagram Mark Wahlberg would post photos of it and finally they are available. However, they do come with a price tag that is just through the roof. The price is $89 which comes out to be just near $100 with tax included. It’s almost as if you are buying expensive pair of shoes and not really slippers.

I got the natural color because I wanted one that are white. It’s actually not white and kind of like cream color but seems almost near white pearl color. Good looking color that is rare and looks great. So far, there are five colors available:

  • Natural
  • Black
  • Peri
  • Poppy
  • Magenta

Maybe next time I’ll get the Peri color which looks like ocean blue.

The Design

I love the design of this slippers as they have a style that you can just wear anywhere. If you are going for a walk at the beach, at the mall, or outside shopping centers, it all works for any occasion. Has that design that you can wear it for just about anything you want and look good with it. It says, “MUNICIPAL” in the middle top of the slippers and that’s pretty much it.

M.FLOAT Technology

Perhaps these might be the only slides with M.FLOAT Technology which is a technology made for comfort. According to municipal website this is what it means:

  • “a proprietary multi-layer, multi-material cushioning system that provides extraordinary comfort, personalized fit, & resiliency over time.”

Sounds just perfect for me. When you wear this, you can really feel the comfort and relaxation of your feet. However, over time these feelings just vanish as your foot gets used to it.

I absolutely love them and can’t wait to get a different color next time. Just to mention that they come with a green bag that is pretty much useless. The green bag doesn’t close which means you can’t really use it for anything else. The shoe is perfect, just the bag it comes with needs an update.
