This Papa John’s BACONMANIA Triple Bacon Pizza is available for a limited time only. Not only is it available for a limited time, but it’s available for members only. Meaning, you have to have a Papa John’s app or website account to purchase. Anyway, there are 3 limited time BaconMania foods that are new:

  1. Triple Bacon Pizza
  2. Parmesan Crusted Smoky Bacon Papadia
  3. Bacon Jalapeno Popper Rolls

From this 3, I decided to try the Triple Bacon Pizza only because I was curious just how its going to taste. This pizza comes with 3 different types of bacons on it:

  1. Chopped Bacon
  2. Bacon Strips
  3. Canadian Bacon

With all this variety of bacons I was not sure if I was at Bacon Heaven or Bacon hell? Just too much bacons and for some time it was delicious, then the bacon taste just started over powering. I felt like the Canadian Bacon didn’t really fit in correctly with the other bacons, but this was an interesting pizza.

For 13 bucks I think this is worth the try, especially for all those bacon lovers out there. Because they had forgot to add Garlic Sauce, I felt like this specific pizza would have gone just so perfect with it. The garlic sauce would just have added more flavor to the pizza and balance out the bacon taste. Which would have been a Win Win! for this pizza. I’m just happy they added the Pepperoncini Peppers so I could mix that with the pizza.

I wouldn’t get this pizza again because it wasn’t my type of pizza. However, I am happy I tried this so I know for next time to not get only bacon on pizza.

They also gave me thin crust instead of original crust, which I think original crust would have been better. I think original crust would have had more bread, which would mean just a bit less bacon taste. The thin crust had a very nice crunch and was good in taste, but I think it helped the bacon to over power the pizza in flavor.

Cool Pizza 

As I think this is an interesting and cool pizza, something tells me its not. Just way too much bacon, kind of felt like their was a triple threat bacon fight going on with all 3 bacons. Anyway, I do recommend to try this for those who just love bacon.
