Starting with 2022 I was happy to see Kinder Joy National Park Foundation Eggs on Instagram. @Kinderus shared post on Instagram that if you share your family’s resolution you get a chance to win free Annual Pass for the National Parks. You just got to hashtag #explorethewildsweeps on Instagram or Twitter and you can comment on the post too with the hashtag.

Kinder Joy Eggs

I came across this Eggs at Target, so I decided to get the whole box which has 15 eggs. Opening up all the 15 eggs I came with 11 different wild animals and 4 duplicates. My main aim was to get the orca because I just loved the design on the box, but I’ll try again. I’m going to go to Target again so I’ll get couple more to see if I can get the orca.

According to NationalParks.org there are a total of 16 animals to collect. The 16 animals are all from the North America and seems like I need to find 5 more to get all 16. Hopefully I get some luck and get the missing animals I’m missing next time.

The first animal I got was the Black Bear and it comes with a paper inside the egg. The paper has a “Did You Know?” fact section and a little information of National Park Foundation.

All of the papers have this information on it: “Kinder Joy is partnering with the National Park Foundation to help protect and preserve wildlife in America’s national parks. Explore the amazing animals of North America and discover a love for nature!”

I will list the “DID YOU KNOW?” of the animals I got:

  • Black Bear – Black Bears mostly eat grasses, herbs and fruit, but will sometimes eat other things, including fish.
  • Polar Bear – At a maximum length of 8.5 feet, polar bears are the world’s largest bear.
  • Puma – Pumas purr, but they cannot roar.
  • Beaver – Beavers spend a lot of time chewing on wood. But most of the wood they eat is soft or wet and doesn’t have many splinters.
  • Desert Box Tortoise – A desert tortoise lives underground most of the year. It spends 95% of its time here.
  • Woodpecker – Woodpeckers peck trees as a communication tool.
  • Raccoon – Raccoons always wash their food in water before eating.
  • White-tailed Deer – White-tailed deer grow a new set of antlers every year.
  • American Alligator – An Alligator can go through 3,000 teeth in a lifetime!
  • Red Squirrel – Red Squirrel build nests in trees. The nests are made of moss, tree bark and grass the squirrels collect.
  • Bald Eagle – Eagles can dive up to 100 miles per hour while hunting prey.

I’m liking these toys and the useful information I’m learning about the animals. And my resolution for this year is to recycle things that normally people don’t recycle.  Things like shipping boxes, magazines, papers, and plastic bags get thrown in the trash when they are supposed to be recycled. This year I’m recycling the things I didn’t recycle during 2021 which was just that.
