Well, what can I say other than that this Denny’s Flamin’ 5-Pepper Burger has absolutely no spice. I been wanting to try this for a while and now that I tried it, I was surprised that it’s not spicy. The name itself is calling for some heat, but not really the taste. However, it is absolutely delicious and pretty sweet too.

5-Pepper Burger

The size of the burger is pretty nice, not too small and not too big, just right. The bacon taste is kind of silent almost as if there is no bacon and same with the mayo. I was trying to find mayo inside, but I couldn’t find any unless it is melted with the cheese. For some reason I feel like they may have forgotten to add the mayo into the burger.

Contains:

  • Brioche bun
  • Aged white cheddar cheese
  • Beef Patty
  • bacon
  • Jalapeño
  • 5-pepper sauce
  • mayo
  • lettuce
  • tomato
  • red onions
  • pickles

There is nothing I can say for the stuff in the burger because it is loaded with ingredients. If I were going to make a burger at home, I would probably make it as is just with mayo and mustard most likely.

2.5 Stars

I got this burger to feel some heat, but with zero heat I’m giving it 2.5 Stars our of 5. This is because the burger is amazing, but it is made to be spicy and is not. Therefore, it doesn’t deliver the purpose it implies.

Side

For the side I choose Beer Battered Onion Rings and it went great with the burger. I was thinking it would have more onion rings, but it is okay enough. I got some organic ranch for the onion rings, and it is good.

Overall, this was an outstanding and tasty burger. But it was more sweet than spicy and no heat coming from the 5-pepper sauce. If anything, the Jalapeños were the spiciest part of the burger.
