As Halloween is almost here, I just couldn’t wait to try this Alani NU Witch’s Brew Energy Drink. I got it from The Vitamin Shoppe and the price was $2.99 each which comes in 12oz size cans. Absolutely love the designs of the can and makes me feel more closer to Halloween. If you are wondering what it tastes like? It tastes just like caramel apple candy. At first it starts off with apple cider taste and then the caramel starts to kick in very pleasingly. Super delicious drink and absolutely love the flavor.

Witch’s Brew Energy

As much of a great drink this seems like it is, there are couple things that bother me. For one, it has 3 different types of sugars used which really bothers me. It is using Erythritol, Sucralose and Acesulfame Potassium. All 3 sugars are not trusted, and many concerns are taking place that they may be more damaging than helpful. I wish it was using Stevia Leaf Extract or Monk Fruit instead of artificial sweeteners. Second, it has 200mg of caffeine which that is a health concern on its own as it is just over the limit. I really think 160mg of caffeine is the edge of the safe zone for caffeine. Passing 160mg caffeine just adds extra concern to the brain which may just be more damaging than being helpful.

Happy Halloween

I would especially enjoy drinking this during Halloween as that is the day and season for this special drink. I just hope witches don’t smell it and start following me to get some sip of this energy drink.

I really enjoy drinking this brew, but the fake sugars and over the limit caffeine just bother me. Otherwise, this would have been my enjoyment for the entire season.
