“Love is an act of faith, and whoever is of little faith is also of little love.” – Erich Fromm

My Thoughts:

I think that this makes sense as its saying love is an act of faith. When two people come together into one, its like Gods way of putting them together. However, there are just so many fault marriages that are miserable, but when two right ones are together it’s absolute romance. In other words, I can say that Erich Fromm is absolutely right with great point.

Faith

I really think that you must believe in love before committing to it. If you don’t believe in it, then it is just going to be miserable. At the same time, I think God has chosen your partner for you. But if you have little faith it is just going to end up very upsetting rather than pleasing.

Try

It is better to try to love someone rather than not to love at all. What good is life with no love? Sure, many people might make it seem like its perfect. At times it can be perfect, but I think with love it is just meant to be. Also, with a partner life is more busy and more is going on. As life is busier the times go faster and its just made to be. At the same time, with miserable marriage it is better to be alone than to suffer. No one is getting married to have a bad relationship. Therefore, have faith to move on even if something is not working out.

Also, don’t rush into marriage as it is something that you want it to be permanent. Many people over the age of 30 start rushing as they are feeling that it is getting too late. Even when it is getting late, I suggest to not rush than to rush and have a terrible marriage.
