Jurassic World: Dominion is now the 6th film of the Jurassic Park films. Dominion came out in USA on June 10th of 2022 in movie theaters. The original Jurassic Park film came out in 1993, just about 30 years ago. As much as I loved the Jurassic Park, I could say this 2022 edition didn’t really put me focused to the film as much as the original ones.

Graphics

The film graphics is not really any update compared to the original one. Now that we are on the year 2022, you would expect a very nice, updated graphics, but compared to the original 1993 film, there doesn’t really seem a big graphic difference. This is kind of sad for technology, it’s as if nothing is really being progressed over the years in film making. Even worse, the newer movies seem a bit more fake when it comes to the graphics.

Summary

Basically, these bugs are eating the grains, but they are only eating the ones that doesn’t have Biosyn Seed. So, Dr. Sattler and Dr. Grant are headed to Biosyn Sanctuary to get a DNA sample of the Locusts bugs that are genetically engineered. If you are unaware of what locusts is? They are this bugs that are eating the grains and overpopulating in Jurassic World: Dominion. However, they are only eating grains that are not Biosyn seed. Which means you can expect that Biosyn is trying to control their business and dominate their seeds over others.

Now, at the same time Lockwood and Beta (Blue’s Baby) have been stolen and been brought to the Biosyn Sanctuary in Dolomite Mountains, Italy. Lockwood which is a 14-year-old girl, and she is genetically engineered as well. At Biosyn, Dr. Lewis and Dr. Henry want to study her DNA.

Anyway, the group head to Biosyn to steal DNA Samples of the Locusts. They get the samples, and they take Lockwood and Beta as well.

Stolen Lockwood

The parents of Lockwood are keeping Lockwood a secret from the world. She is genetically engineered, and she is wanted by the poachers. Rainn steals her and Owen sees it happening. This is the dumb part, you would naturally expect that Owen and Claire would automatically know that they are taking her to Biosyn. Obviously, Biosyn is a facility of genetic engineering and Lockwood is genetically engineered. Which means that it’s kind of obvious that she was stolen to go there, but her parents were not sure where she was headed to.

Dinosaurs Living with Humans

In this world of Jurassic Dominion, the Dinosaurs are mixed with the people. Realisticaly, this just doesn’t make sense as it would be clearly impossible. In the real world, anyway you put it, it just won’t add up. Dinosaurs can eat 100 times more than a human, now just that alone, would tell you something is not right. There would be no plants left on the world, the buildings would be destroyed, people would be eaten. There just is no realistic form of reality of Dinosaurs mixing with humans and living that way.

Acting

the acting part was okay, everyone did a wonderful job. There wasn’t a scene where I was like they are trying to act. Well, some parts I was focusing on Claire’s eyes and realistically you could tell she’s trying to act that way. But it was okay and not really too obvious as compared to many other movies.

Did I Enjoy It?

Sure, I could say I enjoyed watching it, but I was just expecting more. I don’t want to compare this with the previous movies, I just want to say it’s a continuation of it. In other words, it is almost a show and not a movie as the way I want to put it. You would expect something greater than what it was as it was the 6th film. But All I could say is that it’s a continuation and leave it to that.

Ending

The end was very nice as the T-Rex teamed up with Therizinosaurus. Well, at least it seemed like they teamed up together as the T-Rex pushed Gigantosaurus into the claws of the Therizinosaurus. The Therizinosaurus killed the Gigantosaurus and the final fight finishes. Beta was returned to Blue, and that was nice as Blue came back and seemed like a thankful goodbye. Obviously, Lockwood was saved, and Dr. Lewis was killed by a dinosaur. and Biosyn is probably being fixed again.

Scene from Film

“Ian: So, you worked in the raptor pen Huh?
Owen: Yeah.
Ian: Wow. Well, what happens? You just tell them what to do and they comply or?
Owen: Human animal bond based on ritual respect.
Ian: Mmhmm. Had a dog once. Humped my leg so much I had a callus in my shin bone. It’s a true story.”

I liked this scene from the movie as it says he can’t train his dog, yet people are training a raptor. (LOL)

I recommend it

Great movie overall, just was expecting more, but it was okay. If you haven’t seen it, I recommend it, as I think it is an okay movie. I’m giving it 3.5/5 because it was okay if I don’t compare with the first ones that came out.
