As I was looking through jamba, I found this banana cream pie that I just couldn’t resist. I was lost as just what it was going to taste like, and it gave me Halloween and Fall feeling to it. I almost felt like a clown was going to eat banana cream pie until I realized that we are almost at Thanksgiving and not Halloween. Along with the smoothie I got a Sweet Pretzel to go along with it.

banana cream pie from jamba

As drinking all I got is banana taste and oat milk taste with a little bit of vanilla too. However, where on earth is the pie part of the taste? The pie flavor is fully missing and it kind of ruins the purpose of this being called, “banana cream pie.” It sure is a good tasting smoothie with basic banana taste, but it just doesn’t have any pie taste as it’s called: “banana cream pie.”

The ingredients:

  • bananas
  • oat milk
  • oat milk frozen dessert

Just 3 ingredients make this smoothie and now come to figure why is it called banana cream pie? I think the oat milk frozen dessert kind of has cheesecake breading taste with tiny hint of it. Therefore, nothing else really has anything to do with pie. Even the oat milk frozen dessert probably doesn’t have any cheesecake crumbles taste, but it is giving me a silent hint of it. Unless it is just in my mind because I’m after trying to find the pie part of the taste.

Add Pie

Adding some pie to this smoothie would make this complete and more accurate. Doesn’t matter if it’s strawberry, blueberries, or mango pie, just as long as it has some pie in it. If you plan on trying this, just expect basic banana smoothie and that’s it.
