“If you don’t like my management, replace me, keep the ponies going.” – Steve Weeks

This is by far the saddest news for the wonderful kids to hear that there are no more Pony Rides. Yes, as sad as it can be, it has come to an end and last day of operation would be December 21st of 2022. The City of Los Angeles has not approved for the renewal of the contract.

City should be Blamed

I visited the Griffith Park Pony Rides and I have examined the animals for many times. Before, I’ve even heard of the city not renewing the license, I’ve have investigated myself as being an expert in many pets. What I mean by investigate is that I’ve watched carefully just how they are being treated. As I’ve observed the ponies, I’ve never come across any wrongful mistreatment to them.

The ponies are just walking around with kids and then they are hanging out by the waters. In a way they are taking turns and in a slow paste. There really is no mistreat taking effect. In fact, they are having fun hanging out and being around people. It is only 6 hours a day and I really think the city is making the wrong decision.

In fact, the city should be questioned about their wrongful decision makings and hold accountable for. The city mentioned something about protesters confirming the ponies are being mistreated. But the protesters are not horse experts, and they are not aware of what they are doing. They are uneducated in the category and the city is following them with wrongful information.

Home of Ponies

Griffith Park has been known home of Ponies since when it first started during 1948. I’ve gotten pony rides when I was a child and it’s been absolutely fun. I wish we had cameras back in those days so I could have had a photo with them.

Terrible

Terrible move by the city to end the pony rides. However, I hope something similar takes place such as an open pony farm. Many people are saddened by the end of the pony rides, and I wish the best for the ponies. I hope they are taken into good care as they were before.

K9 Dogs

Whoever is protesting that the ponies are mistreated should visit shopping malls and theme parks. Yes, they should visit and take a look at the K9 dogs that are walking around for 12-16 hours a day. I mean if you want to protest something that is mistreated, I think you should protest on the k9 dogs. There should be no dogs walking for 12 hours a day as a job. K9 dogs are mistreated and always ignored because supposably they are helpful.
