“If I can stop one heart from breaking, I shall not live in vain. If I can ease one life the aching, or cool one pain, or help one fainting robin Unto his nest again, I shall not live in vain.” – Emily Dickinson

(My Thoughts:)

Well to begin with this is from a poem and this is how the poem goes:

If I can stop one Heart from breaking
I shall not live in vain
If I can ease one Life the Aching
Or cool one Pain

Or help one fainting Robin
Unto his Nest again
I shall not live in Vain.
– Emily Dickinson

As you would guess just another great poem from Emily Dickinson. However, what is this poem really talking about? When it comes to poems, it is obvious that it means variety of things to each individual. Kind of like whatever the person is going through, he/she will reflect the poem upon its life’s condition.

Heart Breaking

What I want to get to is to stop breaking hearts. It is pointless, and back and forth relationships are pain in the butt. Not healthy for you and better off to just not fight. Why fight in the first place? I often come to the same thought: One fight will keep repeating itself over and over again. Therefore, solve the problem or it will repeat itself. And don’t hold anything inside because later it will explode and make it stupid.

The sky knows everything you are doing and live your life by goodness towards yourself and everyone around you.

Above all, this poem is telling me to help people who may need help. Just heal people’s hearts and keep them in peace and relaxed state of mind. You can do it and there is no one to stop you from helping others. Let peace be your intentions and start helping everyone you encounter.
