As I was looking through the Burger King Coupons Paper it has a Big Fish Sandwich on it. The Burger King Big Fish Sandwich just called to me like I was in the ocean. I figured I’ll go ahead and give it a try to see how it is. Well, in short, I think this is not big and it is pretty small. In reality, this should be 25% bigger to live up to its name as “Big Fish.” Otherwise, it is not small but not close to big as well. There also is the Fiery version of this fish sandwich available which should pack some spice.

BK Big Fish

As you start eating, you notice some sweetness that just comes in very quickly. As you continue to chew then you realize it is sweet and very salty as well. However, most importantly is that it doesn’t have a strong odor of fish coming in from the sandwich. The fishy taste is just at the right balance where it is not strong but good as far as fish goes.

Contains:

  • White Alaskan Pollock with Crispy Panko Breading
  • Sweet Tartar Sauce
  • Lettuce
  • Crunchy Pickles
  • Toasted Potato Bun

I really think this Big Fish sandwich needs tomatoes, more lettuce and bigger in size to make it complete. For some reason fish and tomatoes go just perfectly together. At the same time, this sandwich is just good and perfect on the fishy part of the taste. The pickles add a sour flavor to the fish that resembles a great savory flavor.

Burger King Fiery Big Fish Sandwich

This wouldn’t be complete if I didn’t try the Burger King Fiery Big Fish Sandwich which it’s pretty much the same except for being spicier. How spicy is it really? Well, not too spicy as I think it’s kind of mild. It is very greasy and has a honey taste along with peppers. Kind of like honey pepper taste. However, you can’t taste the fish at all since the fiery side is just dominating in flavor. The only difference between this one is that it has a Triple Pepper Spicy Glaze on the fish. I like this one more as it feels more heavy as you eat. it makes you feel more full than the regular Big Fish.
