“Worrying is like a rocking chair: you go back and forth but never get anywhere.” – Kimbo Slice

Who can relate to this? We all worry in life, we all get stuck somewhere, but it’s these situations that make us who we are. It’s this back-and-forth never getting anywhere moments that we got to stop to think for a moment. To think how bad things are? or where we stuck at? to figure out a goal to reach to the next level.

Kimbo Slice was a great fighter and I think his message is to not worry. His trying to say if he worried for his fights, he probably would have never made it. This is the reason why I think 99% of all fighters never make it. They worry back and forth to only fear that they might lose or not perform as expected. It is these thoughts that people think and never reach anywhere or just lose the fights because they are worrying. It is hard to not worry, but I also think the root of worry is fear.

Fear

I really believe that all worrying somehow connects with fear. Simply if they didn’t fear, then there would not be any worry thoughts. Fear is the root cause of all worries, and it is a big part of many peoples Lifes. Fear from work, school, socializing, public places, and personal reasons all live in people’s minds. This mind of fear thoughts leads to worry, confusion, stress, and never ending back and forth chair rides. However, there is always a solution to all worries and often it’s a hard part of life, but there is an outcome at the end. Some people reach it easy, some hard, but never giving up will lead you to it.

as I like to say, “Do what you worry, and don’t worry about it.”
