“If you have no confidence in self, you are twice defeated in the race of life. With confidence, you have won even before you have started.” – Marcus Tullius Cicero
This may sound true, but I think it can vary sometimes. For instance, if you have no confidence and struggle to get the confidence, you have true confidence. It is more powerful than anything in the world. If you always had confidence, just possibility is that you may just never had it. If there is nothing causing you to lose confidence than you just don’t really know if you are confident or not.
Struggle
What I really think is that you don’t have confidence until you had to overcome something for it. Let’s say you stress over your self-image. Over time you overcome the stress over yourself. Now you have gained real confidence because you struggled for it. Otherwise, you may think you have confidence, but you really may not. I mean if nothing is causing you to stress over your self-image. Then there is nothing to prove if you have confidence or not.
Confidence
Most people who think they have confidence they won’t dare do anything to prove them for it. Let’s say if you’re a guy and you have full hair. Shave your head 3 times a week for 5 years. By doing random experiments light this you may prove yourself if you have confidence or not. Or get pimples or do something extraordinary and see how you feel about it.
Truth to Confidence
If you come across a person who has anxiety or is stressed, and you stress too than you have no confidence. If a person can change over how you feel or react than he/she has overpowered you. Therefore, meaning your confidence is nowhere near being confident at all.
