Moses replied, “When I have gone out of the city, I will spread out my hands in prayer to the Lord. The thunder will stop and there will be no more hail, so you may know that the earth is the Lord’s.” – Exodus 9:29

What this makes me think is that no matter where you are you must keep your heart with God. If you are living in a city where it’s very holly and you are used to the environment of believing into God. Then you move to a different location where the belief of God seems less and not really there. Regardless of where you are you should keep your head up high with your belief of God. Keep praying and spread the word of God and believe with your heart.

What is Hail?

  • “Precipitation in the form of small balls or lumps usually consisting of concentric layers of clear ice and compact snow” – Merriam-Webster
  • “Something that gives the effect of a shower of hail” – Merriam-Webster

Just wanted to share with you guys what Hail means in the dictionary. So, when it says, “there will be no more hail,” I think its referring to like thick snow or ice. Once the thunder stops, the heavy rain or ice or snow will stop as well.

Moses

What I think Moses is saying is that where he is at now many believe as he may be with Jesus. But, once he leaves the current place and leaves and goes to new city, he will continue to spread the belief of God. He will make sure that the new city understands and believes that the works are from Jesus. This is a way Jesus was helping to spread the word of God.

All I could say is you too should believe and spread the works of God.
