“May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus, that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.” – Romans 15:5‭-‬6

As I came across endurance, it reminded me of running with a burning heartbeat. This brought to my attention that most people think that running is safe and that is good for you. However, as I’ve been studying and learning about running, I’ve come to realize that it’s actually bad for you. The way the body blood flows during a run is really causing stress to the entire body. Yes, it’s easy to run when we are young as our body is not ill yet. However, when we get older with all the rear and tear, running can be more damaging than it seems.

Just Walk

The more I studies, the more I found how harsh running can be towards our organs and joins. So, what is a better alternative and a safer one? Walking is the way to go, but why? The reason walking is better, is because the blood flow spreads to the entire body in the right speed and is not harsh. The blood flows throughout the entire body evenly and it results a better heart pump than running would. I was fully convinced that walking is better, when a dentist on TV said for better mouth health, it’s better to walk and not run. The blood goes evenly through the gums and mouth and results in better looking teeth that is healthier.

Running requires special health conditioning and maintaining that is very costly. Professional athletes go through special muscle repairing that is diagnosed with a doctor. All this said, keep your endurance with God and follow his commands.
