At first when you drink, a sour taste comes from the sherbet, but as you get to the whip the sweetness comes in.

  • Orange Cranberry flavored base
  • Orange Sherbet
  • Coconut Whip

Yes, this may have simple ingredients, but it packs a nice seasonal feeling. The coconut whip in the bottom tastes nothing like coconut. It tastes as if you are drinking vanilla whip and not coconut whip. The orange flavor is almost silent, and the sherbet is dominating in the cranberry side of taste. The orange taste comes in when you are mixing the whip with the sherbet together.

Holidays

If you are after the Christmas Feeling, this drink is for you. The coconut whip in the bottom looks and feels like snow, yet it tastes like vanilla. The red color in the sherbet feels like you are drinking this while walking through heavy snow during Christmas.

Learning

What I like about this drink is that it provides a learning experience. The whip in the bottom mixes with the sherbet so well that now you know you can add whip to any sherbet smoothie. It feels as if you are eating ice cream, except in a smoothie form.

Overall

However, all this said, I really think that the whip should be on the top as well. As a whole, about 20-25% of the drink is whip while the remaining is sherbet. But I really think it should be 50/50 with 25% whip in the bottom and 25% whip on top. In this way, the drink starts sweet, sour and sweet again, rather than sour to sweet only.

As the Holidays is a warm feeling and sweetness is warm. Therefore, starting sweet and then sour, then back to sweet again would fulfil a more warming experience. Other than that, this is nice and wonderful smoothie which I will get it again. I recommend trying this as its available for limited time during this season.
