This is something new and a little bit seems like out of this world and not a smoothie or a juice. If not smoothie or Juice, then what is it? it is a delicious parfait by Jamba something that I’ve never thought would have been possible. Yet, it is possible and comes with two choices: Greek Yogurt or Coconut Whip.

Belgian waffle parfait with Greek Yogurt

As soon as I saw this at Jamba, I just had to give it a try. I always get the Belgian Waffle and it is always delicious and goes just very well with smoothies. However, this Belgian Waffle Parfait is like a Glamourous Parfait and pretty tasty too. At first, I kind of doubted it, but when I gave it a try it is well worth the try.

It contains:

  • nonfat Greek yogurt
  • Belgian waffle
  • strawberries
  • blueberries
  • organic granola
  • honey

Yes, it is simple ingredients and seems a little basic to me. It comes at a massive price of $10.99 which I think it’s a bit outrage. The Yogurt tastes like nothing, except for sweetness. The honey really controls the taste of this parfait, and the sweetness comes very smoothly. The waffles are toasted and tasty too.

Price is Flying through the Roof

All you need to do is buy Greek Yogurt and place the rest of the toppings on top and there you go, a homemade parfait. There really is no work for this parfait, except for combining them together almost like putting Lego pieces together. Easy to make, yet very delicious too which gets to my point. A super high price for no craftmanship really involved. This shouldn’t be $10.99 but I think a good price would be $4.99 since you just putting ingredients together.

Most people are probably already making something the same or alike. So, this is nothing new to the world, except for new at Jamba.

Belgian waffle parfait with Coconut Whip

Oh, Wow! The coconut whip is absolutely worth the try and is super delicious. This one has no honey, and the coconut whip has a bit vanilla taste and getting minimal coconut taste. The whip feels just like whip cream except thicker in texture and combines with the toppings just perfectly.

Parfait

When I think of Parfaits, I think of everything mixed. However, this both bowls have the yogurt or whip in the bottom with everything else on top. Therefore, this doesn’t really make me feel like a parfait, but rather just a fruit bowl. Regardless of that, as you are eating everything seems to get mixed together and forming into a parfait.

I asked Jamba what kind of Coco Whip they are using, and they told me this one:

Jamba Coco Whip

Jamba Coco Whip

It is a nice choice from Jamba as it is a healthier choice than alternatives.

What the Parfait contains:

  • Coco Whip
  • Belgian waffle
  • strawberries
  • blueberries
  • organic granola

This version of the Parfait doesn’t come with honey and this time they put just a bit of the granola. I really think it needs more granola and it would be just perfect. Just like the Greek yogurt this is easy to make at home and has a massive price of $10.99.

Overall

There really is nothing to say negative about these parfaits as they feel very healthy. Yes, they seem easy to make like putting Lego pieces together but provide a nice nutrition and great choice to go along with smoothies or juices. A nice 10/10 for this parfait because it just hit’s the spot, especially the coconut whip.
