“I am fond of pigs. Dogs look up to us. Cats look down on us. Pigs treat us as equals.” – Winston S. Churchill
When I think of pigs I think of pork, well done baby back ribs from Tony Romas. I wish I was eating some just right now, but I’m starting to eat less meat as much as possible. Anyway, of course this can mean many things, but I think Pigs treat us as equals because we eat them. In other words, pigs treat us the way we treat them. The way we provide them food and housing, is the outcome of the way we are treated back from the pigs.
The Problem
One of the problems I find with pigs is that we treat them very wrong. Some companies put pigs in cages where they don’t have much room to move around. Also, some provide them very stressful housing and they are tortured throughout their lifespan. Not only pigs are treated wrong, but so are chickens and other farm animals. I really think all companies that grow the animals stressfully should be turned down. I think all animals should be kept with respect and a fun environment. This is very important, because if we eat stressful grown pig, we inherit the stress of the animal towards us. This is why all animals should be grown with the best of life, so we eat fun and healthy hormone animal instead of stressed one.
Besides, all animals deserve to have fun and play around, until we eat them. also, pigs treat us as equals in a way that how we treat them is the hormone that is given to us back. So, important to keep in mind that all companies who treat the animals wrong, should be shut down as from what I think.
