“Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name!” – Psalms 100:4

Those who are having difficult times, may not feel thankful at the moment. But it is these moments that we need to be thankful for and that we can change this with brainstorming. For example, let’s say that you are in debt of $5,000.00 and it keeps adding up as you keep spending. This may bother you as you want to pay it off by the end of the year. So, a person in this situation might be always pissed off and not feel thankful. But at a situation like this, the person needs to brainstorm his budget and figure a plan to pay it off by end of year. With proper logical brainstorm and developing the steps to make it work, the person can be happy and feel thankful again.

More Important

However, it is not the feeling good we feel that we should feel thankful for. It is the times we need him the most, the times we are suffering, it’s those times we must feel thankful and keep moving forward. Those are the truest forms of thankfulness a person can feel and achieve. Keep in mind that we must control our anger and madness, substitute it with joy and deal with it that way. We can control our own feelings and emotions, on top of that we can choose how we want to feel.

Main Point

All this said, I want to mention that it doesn’t matter how you feel, you must be thankful from within. Blessing his name and giving thanks comes from within you. Next time if you are ever sad, try to be thankful about it. There would be no point of being sad, if it weren’t for being happy.
