“Because your steadfast love is better than life, my lips will praise you. So, I will bless you as long as I live; in your name I will lift up my hands.” – Psalms 63:3‭-‬4

As I came across this phrase, I was just wonder what exactly steadfast meant? So, I looked up in the dictionary and according to Merriam-Webster it means firmly fixed in place and not subject to change. Also, it means firm in belief, determination, or adherence. Now it makes more sense to me just what exactly this Psalm means. In other words, his love is firmly fixed in place that his love is so strong, it’s better than life. Due to that, my lips will praise you as in my thoughts and mind will praise you.

Wanted to shar this

Today 6/3/22 there was a stabbing at Encino Hospital Medical Center which total of 3 people got stabbed. One person was a doctor and the other two were nurses that got stabbed. The person who stabbed them walked in the hospital and asked for medication for anxiety. I suppose the hospital didn’t give it to him as he has to get it through document and paperwork. Because he wasn’t given his medication, he stabbed them and placed them into a very life-threatening situation.

Anyway, what I want to share is that this could have been prevented if the person praised the lord with his lips. If the person lived a life with forgiveness and kindness this could have probably not happened. This stabbing took place in the Emergency Room and my grandpa was one of the patients in the hospital during that time. Overall, my message about this is that reading the bible and living a righteous life is not only important, but beneficial to our health. By reading the bible on a basis this could probably have been prevented.
