“Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings.” – 1 Peter 5:8-9

This is why it’s important to not drink, actually it’s okay to drink, just not to get drunk. Getting drunk and having it effect your life is not the correct way of drinking. Instead, the right way is to drink, but under your control and not under the drinks control. Good example is coming home from a long day of work and drinking tequila about half a shot. Why half a shot? Because you are getting the nutrition of the tequila and able to relax without getting drunk. Taking smart steps like this is okay, but abusing it is when the devil is around you.

Read this Book

This Bible phrase brought my attention of a book I want to share with you guys called: “Out of the Devil’s Cauldron.” If you’re wondering what type of book it is, it is a book of darkness to light. The author is John Ramirez, and the book is 230 pages, published on the year 2012. If there is one book I want to suggest you to read, for the meantime is this book as it is in my mind. Just check it out for fun and read couple pages as it is very interesting and it pulls you in.

Quote from the book page 100

“I was dumbfounded, speechless, too tired to fight. I sat at the TV, Channel-surfing, no words coming out of my mouth. The next evening, I sat in my living room with a beer in my hand staring around at the four walls, hitting the rewind button of my life, and wondering how I had ended up here in this situation-not only losing my wife, but losing my daughter. Tears flowed down my face, a pain you couldn’t describe ripping my heart. I finally understood that there is no difference between a divorce and the death of a beloved relative. The pain is the same.” – Out of the Devil’s Cauldron

Great and important book, read it one day.
