“And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you. To him be the dominion forever and ever. Amen.” – 1 Peter‬ ‭5:10-11

My Thoughts:

Well to those who have suffered I just want to say that God is in you. You may think that you are being punished, but you may just be strengthening rather than being punished. Or it may be just that you are being punished for maybe something you have done some part in your life now or in the previous life. For whatever the reason is, I think it’s okay as God is managing your body during that time. I think he has made you to suffer in purpose. By doing so, he may be preparing you for something greater than ever. This greatness would only be possible by suffering now.

Boxing

Suffering leads to mental strength over time and this mental strength is far greater than physical strength. For instance, notice 99% of all boxers never really make it into the real world of boxing? They have all the muscles and strength and body conditioning they need. Yet, in the boxing fight they get scared or are mentally not ready for the fight. This mental weakness is possibly the reason why 99% of all boxers fail in the sport of boxing. This same people go to a different sport, thinking it would be easier than boxing. Later they realized they have just been wasting time as their mind is not ready. When the mind is not ready then there is fear in the person’s heart.

Good News

The suffering is only temporarily, and that God will himself restore you. This is how life is and don’t forget that God is watching you.
