“The fear of man lays a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is safe.” – Proverbs 29:25

What I think snare means here is a trap, in other words, “the fear of man lays a trap.” This said, if you fear, don’t be trapped into doing stuff that you didn’t do before. As fear lays a trap, don’t fall into that trap, but rather fight the trap. You fight the trap by trusting into the Lord. So, those who fear, do exactly what you want and do it with a fear heart. By doing so, you are trusting into the Lord which is the right way to go.

Fear

Many people have fears in their hearts which stop them from doing things that they want. For example, someone with a fear heart might not go to shopping mall or grocery store, instead they will stay home and purchase stuff from the internet. Fear stops people from doing what they did before, and it keeps them into that trap.

Do the Opposite

So, if you fear, remember to do exactly the opposite which will contribute to Gods will he has planned for you. I know it a hard way to do so, but it is the most correct way.

Also, by doing what you fear you become less fearful. Once you provide you brain with what you fear, it slowly will start realizing that what it once feared is actually no fear at all. But you got to actually do what you fear, so your brain understands it. Sometimes, this can last for years or decades, it’s just a matter of how long it takes. Some people, it takes short time as the fear is not strong. But to some people with strong fear, it may take longer until the brain is convinced it’s no fear at all.
