Every year I get this alcohol chocolates by Anthon Berg from Costco and it comes in a box with 64 inside. They are dark chocolate in shape of a bottle and alcohol inside of them with 8 different choices to choose from. With so many kinds, there is a favorite for just about anyone. Therefore, this is just the perfect gift to give out during the holidays for very low price of just $20.99. Last year in 2023 the price was cheaper by $1 and I ended up getting 4 boxes. This year in 2024 I am on my 2nd box and I think I’m going to stop there as they are just so addicting.
Anthon Berg Chocolate Alcohol Bottles
The instructions say it’s best to bite the bottom, drink the inside and then enjoy the rest. However, I just like to eat it as a whole as I find it to deliver more flavors with the mixture of chocolate and alcohol.
8 Drinks
- Malibu Original – You can taste the coconuts and has a tropical taste kind of like you are in the Islands of Hawaii.
- Cointreau – Tastes like tangy orange peel and you can taste the alcohol separate from the chocolate.
- Southern Comfort – Smooth and has a very relaxing tone of flavor with a salty touch.
- Sobieski Premium Vodka – You can just feel the smooth transition between the chocolate and the Vodka.
- Rémy Martin Cognac Fine Champagne – This one takes some time to get used to as the alcohol is a bit too strong. However, as you get the hang of it you realize just how good it feels to enjoy this one.
- Matusalem Gran Reserva 15 – Kind of has a coconut and a milky tone of taste.
- Drambuie – The alcohol comes in right away and it doesn’t start smooth but ends very smoothly and has tone of sweetness to it.
- The Famous Grouse – This one is the easiest to take as the alcohol mixture just feels so low compared to the rest.
