As Easter is near so is this Carrot Bar Cake from Costco. Actually, it’s just two steps away from me all I have to do is pick it up and put it in my cart. Well, I did just that and ready for Spring with this seasonal bar cake. The price is $18.99 and on the box it says that it’s 2lb and 9oz. Great price for the size and the icing waves on the top looks like the ocean waves. Perhaps, some mermaid chocolates would have been a nice touch to this carrot cake.
Carrot Bar Cake from Costco
There is 6 layers on the cake which the icing tastes like cream cheese which makes it feel like it’s a homemade cheesecake rather than just a bar cake. Absolutely delicious from start to finish and just feels good.
Contains:
- Cream Cheese Icing
- Raisins
- Toasted Walnuts
- Carrots
- Pineapples
As you eat you discover toasted walnuts inside the cake. However, the top of the cake tastes like normal walnuts. Therefore, it’s toasted and regular walnuts in this cake.
Flavors
As you eat, cheesecake flavor just takes the lead into this cake. It’s as if you’re biting into a cheesecake. The cake part has its carrot flavors which provide a sense of brown sugar to me. When eating you find ingredients like the toasted walnuts, raisins, slices of carrots, and pineapples. I can’t really taste the pineapples, but it does add a tropical side of breeze of taste. The raisins provide sweet and sour forms of flavors while the walnuts give a nice toasty crunch. The walnuts seem like they are providing a baked taste which feels so fresh.
this Carrot Bar Cake was right next to the Tiramisu Cheesecake at the open fridge next to the other bakeries. Great cake I just think it needs more almonds on top of the cake. I will get it again very great for Spring and I recommend giving this one a try.
