Halloween just wouldn’t be complete without The Ghost Burger from Carl’s Jr. It is burger perfection that even the ghost are proud of. They are probably giggling to one another and watching us eat it but we just can’t really see them yet. Perhaps, in a another world we will unite with them and enjoy the afterlife. Until then, we can enjoy this Ghost Burger that comes with a pack of heat.

Carl’s Jr. The Ghost Burger 

I ordered the Big Angus Ghost Burger which comes pretty loaded with many toppings inside. Everything I would as for is just in this burger. It is charbroiled and comes in 1/3 lb. 100% Angus Beef patty along with bacon that is meaty perfection.

  • Ghost Pepper Sauce
  • Bacon
  • Lettuce
  • Tomato
  • Onion
  • Pickle
  • Potato Buns

I ordered large size which comes with large fries and drink. For the drink I got Liquid Death Psycho Cider because it is just the flavor meant to go hand in hand with this meal. I mean invincible hand in hand.

Ghost Pepper Cheese & Sauce

The Ghost Pepper Cheese is okay and I can’t really figure out how spicy it is as it’s just melted on the beef patty. However, for the Ghost Pepper Sauce (Soul-Scorching Sauce) I got some on the side which I can try with the fries. There is some heat coming in from the sauce and it’s just so good.

The sauce has this sweet and buttery side of flavor, but the heat just bursts out and takes the lead. Such an amazing tasting sauce that is so good in heat flavor. It’s not heat that makes you sick but rather heat that makes you enjoy. I guess the ghosts are just so happy with this burger.

Spice Level

Sure, is spicy but not too spicy. It’s enough that you can enjoy without be overwhelmed with the heat. However, after you finish eating, you get this heat residue in your mouth and some ice cream helps to cool that off. I cooled off with the new Ben & Jerry’s Churn Out the Vote! Ice Cream.

Recommend

If you want to get blown away with full spice do what I did. I got some ghost pepper sauce on the side and ate it with fries instead of the traditional ketchup. With the sauce on the side and the burger in hand, it delivers more heat than the burger alone.
