“There are words which sever hearts more than sharp swords; there are words the point of which sting the heart through the course of a whole life.” – Frederika Bremer

Well it is obvious that words can only break us or make us. For example, if you say, “I love you,” than you love that person. But if you say, “I hate you,” than you hate that person which is exactly the opposite. We have made words for their own specific purpose and that is what they are made for. You may like it or hate it which exactly is what I’m talking about. Notice that I said: “like or hate” and you right away knew what I’m talking about with exactly opposite meanings. That is how powerful words are and that is the purpose to it.

State of Mind

A peaceful person usually has positive ideas and thoughts floating around his mind. However, another person may have a depressing life because nothing but downside words like “hate” are repeating in his mind. Words can really make us or break us and we need to understand that. If you come across a person who looks very happy chances are that person is full of joy in words that are floating around his mind. Another person who looks sad or is just not responding with positivity can most likely have negative words floating around in his mind. However, it isn’t always the case. For example, many people who look mean are liking that mean look. Doesn’t mean they are negative or happy, it is a choice. In other words, you can’t predict the person by the looks even though you think you can. But it is the words in our thoughts and out of thoughts that separate us from one another.

Most important is be who you are and don’t try to be like anyone else.
