I was finally able to get a hold of this Szechuan sauce from McDonald’s and the taste was surprising. As I was at McDonald’s, the worker told me it has an orange sauce side of tase and it’s really sweet. So, as I was eating, I was referring and trying to find the orange side of taste, but I just couldn’t. Instead, I kind of felt like Chinese or Asian Food type of Sauce taste coming from the Szechuan Sauce.

Szechuan Sauce

As eating and eating I was just so lost and couldn’t really figure out the flavor of this magical sauce. Until I was at my third McNuggets is when the flavor just popped into my head. Yes, that magical flavor of Sushi dramatically came into my mind, and it almost felt as if I was eating Sushi instead of McNuggets.

Tastes Like Sushi

This tasted like I was eating California Sushi Roll with Sesame Seeds on it with lots of soy. As I was smelling the sauce, it gave me that smell when you mix soy sauce with ginger and just ready to be dipped with Sushi. Also, my hands would smell just like the sauce even after I washed them. The soy side of taste is incredibly strong in this sauce and somewhat sweet. It’s not too sweet, but I want to mention just a bit sweet and also at times gave me a sour side of taste too.

Cool Containers 

This Sauce came in black container with gold cover that looked just great. Some of the sauces had just 2 letters that when you placed the entire collection together it would read: “Szechuan.” One of the covers fully had the entire “Szechuan” written on it. As this came in variety form of covers, I really liked the container and the creativity of this sauces.

I thought this sauce was cool, but not one that I would keep getting. It tasted just like Sushi, so it only made me crave Sushi. For this reason, I think these sauces are good to try and good for a change, but not one I’ll be craving all the time.
