Finaly, a new bread from Subway and this time it’s all ready for Halloween. This is Subway Ghost Pepper Bread which is a new bread choice and comes with jalapeños on top of the bread. As you may guess it has Ghost Pepper Chilies along with cheese’s and it’s just ready for this spooky season. However, if you are guessing just how spicy it is? Well, it’s just not spicy enough.

Ghost Pepper Bread from Subway

Sure, you end up getting a little bit of heat sensation on the lips and in the throat. However, that’s all and nothing more. There is no heat sensation going on internally and almost as if there are no peppers inside. I kind of feel like they made this bread to be more safe than sorry as it’s just not spicy.

Ghost Pepper Seasoning

It is packed with Ghost Pepper Seasonings on the outside and bottom of the bread. However, there is no seasoning in the inside part of the bread. As this is not really that spicy, I think they should have doubled up on the seasonings. It would be better if the inside was all seasoned up just as the outside.

As this bread looks just so similar to the Jalapeño Cheddar, I decided to do a camparison.

Ghost Pepper Bread VS Jalapeño Cheddar Bread

Between the both they are almost very similar except for that the Ghost Pepper Bread comes with additional cheese’s along with the seasonings.

Winner

I’m giving the Winner to the Ghost Pepper Bread because it adds a little bit more twist of flavors.

7/10

Overall, I recommend trying this flavor, but I found it too similar to the Jalapeño Cheddar Bread. Which is why I think they should have made a complete new style of breading for this special Ghost Pepper Bread. Otherwise, it’s a delicious bread and tastes amazing with no internal spice heat just that your lips get a little bit of heat sensation. My new choice of bread as its new and a little bit of spice flavoring. I love it toasted more than untoasted.
