Starbucks adds new Summer Refreshers to the menu for 2024 Summer and this time its special. What makes it super special is that they come with pearls. Basically, it is boba beverage, but Starbucks is just calling them pearls. I found this very interesting as I was always wondering when Starbucks would bring in some pearls. Well, the wait is over as they are now available for summer. I highly suggest giving them a try because they add a nice touch to the Refreshers Beverages. There are 3 Summer Refreshers to choose from and let’s start with the first one.

Summer-Berry Lemonade

What makes this one special is that it is sweet and sour. The drink itself has a blueberry taste and it is very sweet side on the blueberry taste. However, as soon as you get the lemonade flavor, it comes in with a punch of sourness to it. Very refreshing and delicious drink that makes me want to keep drinking. Of course, it comes with raspberry flavored pearls that just burst open in your mouth with liquid sweet filling. Very good with this one that I will get it again.

Summer-Berry

This one here comes with nothing but sweetness and just tastes like a hydration drink kind of like Gatorade. It has a blue raspberry flavor that is very sweet and nice touch of pearls. The pearls are red raspberry flavor which nothing but raspberry going on with this drink. This one has no sour side of taste and absolutely delicious but just tastes like a hydration drink. I think if you freeze this and make it into a slushie it would be pretty cool.

Summer Skies Drink 

This one is kind of off in a way because it’s kind of like a milky drink, then not, then yeah, confusing. It’s as if it’s supposed to be milky but feels like it’s not. I’m not really a fan of this one but it is good in its own way. The raspberry flavored pearls really make this complete and add flavor to it. Without the pearls, it’s as if something is just not right with this beverage. Therefore, I would suggest to double up on the pears to make sure each sip comes with a pearl.
