It was about time that Starbucks introduces its Iced Energy Drinks in a can and it starts off with 3 flavors. I am 50/50 with this quality of energy drinks as it didn’t really meet my full expectations. For one it has artificial sweeteners and for 2 it has preservatives. I mean who really wants to drink preservatives? They feel very refreshing and feel lightly carbonated. Also, they come in 12 Fl Oz size which I would highly suggest 16 as it just satisfies more with foods.
Starbucks Iced Energy Drinks in a Can
Tropical Peach – Blueberry Lemonade – Watermelon Twist
Sure, they are ready to drink but I would prefer getting coffee with better ingredients than this iced energy drinks. However, I do love the way the designs are done on the bottle with the Starbucks mermaid looking figure looking like its ready for a swim.
Flavors
- Tropical Peach – Tastes like strawberries and peaches mixed together and feels like you are at an Island. This one is my favorite flavor, and I will be getting more of this one. 🙂
- Blueberry Lemonade – Almost tastes like Jell-O and it is sweet along with sour flavors. You can taste that the sweetener is artificial from the flavor of the lemon.
- Watermelon Twist – Kind of feels like you have watermelon and cucumbers mixed with ice and tastes refreshing. Tastes like you are by the side of the pool and cooking some hamburgers and hot dogs.
Caffeine
I like that they are 160 mg of caffeine and the only source I found in the ingredients is Green Coffee Bean Extract. Perhaps, that is the only caffeine unless there is other herbal caffeine not exactly mentioned.
Artificial Sweeteners
There is Sucralose & Acesulfame Potassium in the beverage which both are artificial sweeteners. It would be more suiting if monk fruit or stevia leaf extract were used.
