Salt & Straw introduces RED ONE Super Premium Ice Cream Tints which comes in 3 flavors. Of course, these are based on the film which the release date is November 15, 2024 in USA. I purchased the ice cream directly from the store and I can’t wait to watch the film. I’m going to wait towards Christmas and New Years to watch it but until then I sure will enjoy the ice cream. There are 3 in this collection:

  1. Commander Of The E.L.F. PB Chocolate Crinkle – Spiced milk chocolate ice cream packed with peanut butter, house made Reese’s, Butterfingers and brownie bites.
  2. Red’s Cookie Platter with Eggnog Custard – A cookie-packed, frosting-inspired ice cream with an eggnog custard swirl.
  3. Krampus’ Mince Pie with Pecan Crust – Mincemeat pie filling in a pecan crust, churned into spiced brown sugar ice cream.

Commander Of The E.L.F. PB Chocolate Crinkle

This one is my favorite as it is chocolate dominating entire flavor. I love how the peanut butter has a real tone of natural peanut butter and it is crunchy with a thin layer to it. I like how all the chocolates are house made to try Salt & Straw craftmanship behind all these ice creams. Very well with this one which I love it the most.

A cookie-packed, frosting-inspired ice cream with an eggnog custard swirl

This flavor has a cherry twist that comes and goes and great with the eggnog taste. However, looking at the ingredients I’m kind of disappointed that it has so many artificial food colors. Because of the food coloring this doesn’t really seem like a super premium ice cream to me.

Mincemeat pie filling in a pecan crust, churned into spiced brown sugar ice cream

I like how this one has so many dried fruits in it but cinnamon, brown sugar and baked apple flavor just over lead the flavors. This one is my 2nd favorite and the spiciest of all.

Can’t wait for the film and so many more great films came out near the same time such as Gladiator 2. If you can’t decide the ice creams, I would pick the chocolate of all which is Commander of the ELF.
