McDonald’s brings back it’s Pumpkin and Creme Pie and it is pretty different than most pumpkin pies that I’ve had. For one, it’s not pumpkin alone, as it comes paired with creme. For two, there is no cinnamon or spice flavor kick to the pie. Normally, many most places that I’ve gotten pumpkin pie from usually came with a touch of spice to it. Therefore, this McDonald’s Pie is just different and unique compared to other restaurants.

McDonald’s Pumpkin & Creme Pie

The pumpkin side of the pie has a normal pumpkin flavor just extremely sweet. You can really feel the sugar as you eat. The creme side has cheese flavor and a touch of vanilla with the cheese dominating. When both mixed together it almost feels like its pumpkin cheesecake instead of pumpkin pie. I like how the edges of the pie are brown as you can really tell that it’s baked just by looking at it. As you eat, the baked flavor just dominates pleasingly, and it is served warm.

Just One Pie

The pie is pretty small, so I was thinking it was going to be low on calories, but it is just 280 calories for one. The price is $2.29 each or deal price which is 2 for $2.50.

Salads

What I think McDonald’s should do is bring back the salads. I remember the Southwest Chicken Salad that I used to get before. Why I’m mentioning salads is because I always ate pie after the salad. This Pumpkin and Creme Pie would go great after a salad. For some reason it has a nice finisher taste that just satisfies.

Ice Cream

As this pumpkin pie has cheesy taste, it would be interesting to mix with vanilla ice cream. Maybe when I get it again Ill mix it with ice cream. Or adding some whip cream would make it complete too.

Overall, great tasting pumpkin pie and I sure will get it again and again, Yummy.
