McDonald’s brings a special Frappé for the holidays and it is Dulce De Leche flavored one. As soon as you start drinking you can just feel the aroma of the caramel dominate the entire flavor. Has that milky tone of taste along with the caramel, however as it is a Frappé I’m not getting the effect of the caffeine. For some reason, it feels more of a dessert rather than coffee. When looking through the ingredients it has coffee extract but nothing that mentions about the caffeine content. Therefore, I think McDonald’s should update the nutrition label and mention just exactly how much caffeine it contains just in case people are sensitive to it.

McCafé Dulce De Leche Frappé

If you are wondering what it tastes like, well it tastes like caramel, cookies, brown sugar and maple syrup. I got it as is which comes with whipped light cream along with crunchy caramel pieces on top. This one is ice blended drink, and I ordered size medium. As the whipped cream and the caramel pieces start mixing with the drink you start to get this cookie flavor come in. At the same time, you get brown sugar flavor with touch of maple syrup that comes and goes. Therefore, it got me to start craving pecan pieces.

Toasted Pecans

Instead of crunchy caramel pieces, I think it should of came with toasted pecan pieces. As the flavors are so in the mood of holiday it just makes me crave the pecans.

Very well blend here with the caramel flavor taking the lead and absolutely delicious and I recommend giving it a try. I just think if they sprinkled some pecans on top, it would make it more complete. It is available for limited time, and I can’t wait to get another one. Happy Holidays!
