At first when you think of McDonald’s Cookies and Creme Pie, you think it’s going to be chocolate chip cookies. However, there is no chocolate chip in here, instead it is all chocolate cookie along with cream. It has some cookie sprinkles on top but even the sprinkles are all chocolate sprinkles almost similar to a brownie. I think this should have been called Brownie and Creme rather than Cookies and Creme. Regardless of what it is called, it’s just my favorite as I love chocolate so much. I know there are vanilla type of people and then there are chocolate, I’m all chocolate and let’s melt right into this Pie.

Cookies & Creme Pie

As soon as you take it out of the box you can just smell the fresh baked and melted chocolate smell. It’s like you just took it out of the oven and has a homemade smell to it. Once you start eating, it’s like love at each bite and you don’t want to stop. Absolutely, perfect pie and just one of my favorites. It’s here for limited time so I would strongly suggest giving it a try.

The Creme

The middle is a white vanilla tasting cream that is very smooth and creamy. It’s as if you melted a marshmallow and has a similar taste.

Crust

The crust on the outside is not really rich on chocolate flavor but has that chocolate taste. I like how it’s open in the middle and looks like a piece of art. Very well done here with the delicious pie.

The cookie crumbles in the middle add a stronger chocolate taste when combined with the crust and goes just perfect with the cream.

Overall

Absolutely 5 Star Pie and it just keeps calling me for more and more. It is 240 calories which is okay as a dessert as I like to not pass 300 calories. It is pretty expensive costing at $3.39 for 1 pie but well worth the price. It just satisfies that chocolate craving in a brownie like way. Way the go with this one McDonald’s!
