Every year I been getting Hawaiian Host Chocolates from Costco and this time I found a new version of it. It is an aloha version just like the other and it is Hawaiian Host Toasted Coconut Milk Chocolate Macadamias. They are small balls which all of them are in different variety of circle shapes along with sizes. Some are bigger than the other and some are more chocolatey than the other. Comes in a bag with flowers all around it which to me seem very tropical. The bag size is 1 pound and 4 ounces which the price is unbeatable at $16.49.
Hawaiian Host Toasted Coconut Milk Chocolate Macadamias
One thing is for sure and that is that this circle chocolates are just too addicting, once you start it’s as if you can’t stop eating them. They have 14g sugars which 12g are added and I really think that it’s too sweet. The coconuts inside have their own town of sweetness which I think that if 75% less sugar was added would be more suiting to me.
Variety of Flavors
Some bites are more coconut flavors than the others, some are sweeter, some you can get a touch of toffee, and some are more chocolaty. However, all of them are good and I chopped them up and mixed them in ice cream. I like the toasted side of flavor that comes from the coconuts. The chocolate is amazing, but I can’t really get the creamy side of chocolate. It’s as if they are not creamy but chocolatey. Perhaps, this is from the temperature.
Food Colors
I like the food colors as they are not chemical food colors. The colors are beet juice, red cabbage and annatto.
If you come across this, I highly suggest getting it as they are just so delicious. They have a buttery tone of flavor, and everything is just perfect from quality to taste. Absolutely 5 Stars to these yummy chocolates.
