As I was trying to find Hulk Hogans Beer at Walmart I found Happy Dad Death Row Records Hard Seltzer. I got happy as there was size 24 oz. which was cold and ready to drink from the fridge section. As the alcohol volume is 5%, I thought this was going to be very light, but the alcohol is pretty strong on the taste. The alcohol comes in at 50% of the flavor while the grape comes in at the other 50%. Pretty good and went just perfect with my Krispy Kreme 4th of July doughnuts.

What I like about Happy Dad is that the nutritional facts are on the can and there is nothing that is being hidden. Most alcohol companies try to hide information such as the sugars and the colors along with the entire nutritional facts. Only 2g added sugars to this beverage in size 24 oz. It’s just perfect for me as the drink is not strong on the sugar and it is low on the carbonation.

Grape Flavor

As you open the can you can right away smell the delicious grape flavor just burst out of the can. As you drink, the grape flavor is candy like grape and not natural fruit taste. Tastes like Ice Pop Ice Creams and just perfect on the flavor. However, the grape is not dominating the taste and is going 50/50 with the alcohol taste. Very enjoyable flavor and perfect with food.

I like the flavor as it brings me back to my childhood days in adult way.

At Walmart they have many different flavors of Happy Dad Hard Seltzer so I can’t wait to try does as well. Also, I got the 24 oz. size can but there are 12 oz. size cans as well. The buzz comes in very quickly and settles very smoothly, 5 Stars.
