As Dubai Chocolates are going viral, just everywhere you can find them. Well, I been waiting for Trader Joe’s to get their Dubai Chocolates or at least Dubai Style Chocolates. I’ve tried some authentic Dubai Chocolates and absolutely delicious but also so expensive. I’ve tried Dubai Style from Costco which I found it absolutely perfect because of great ingredients. However, let’s see what Trader Joe’s brings to the game of Dubai Chocolates.

PATISLOVE – Pistachio Dark Chocolate Dubai Style

Well, at last Trader Joe’s brings it’s Dubai Chocolate and this one is Dubai Style. Which means it is basically a copy version of the authentic Dubai Chocolates. The price is absolutely perfection for just $3.99 for a bar which is available at the checkout counter. It’s also selling pretty quickly as everyone is just grabbing one.

Too Sweet

It’s supposed to be Dark Chocolate, but it is so sweet that it almost seems as if it’s milky chocolate. It satisfies the dark chocolate cravings but in the sweetest way possible. It has 32g of sugars in the entire bar which tastes sugary on each bite.

Pistachio Cream & Kataifi Filled

The pistachio cream inside doesn’t taste anything like pistachio but rather tastes like vanilla and waffle. It’s as if you are eating chocolate with vanilla mixed together. Sure, it is good on each bite but just doesn’t taste like pistachios. The Kataifi is minimal amount but also delivers a nice crunch on each bite. I think some more Kataifi would be suiting to me.

Overall

Pretty good tasting chocolate for low price at Trader Joe’s but I wish the ingredients were a bit better. It doesn’t have the authentic Dubai Chocolate taste I was after, but it sure is delicious in the chocolate world. I love the dark chocolate tone which goes very well with the pistachio cream and Kataifi inside.
