Ben & Jerry's Fudgy Flan Ice Cream

New flavor from Ben & Jerry’s and this one is the Fudgy Flan Ice Cream. I got it from VONS for sale price of $5.49 which the regular price was $5.99. This one gave me dark tone of caramel taste which had notes of coffee-like taste. The entire container is 1030 calories and entire container is packed with 103g of sugars which 85g are added. Nice tasting as a whole and would recommend giving it a try.

Burnt Caramel Ice Cream with Fudge Brownies & Pastry Cream Swirls

When eating this one, the caramel gave me notes of coffee-like taste which got me craving some whip cream. The chocolate brownies are nice chunks of it and in a milky tone of taste. The flan flavors come and go which is very minimal. Flan tastes milky and natural flan flavors.

Aged Taste

For some reason the Burnt Caramel Ice Cream has an aged taste to it in dark flavors. The dark tone of flavors along with aged taste make me crave some whiskey. I think adding some whiskey along with whipped cream would be the finishing touch to this Fudgy Flan Ice Cream. Also, the caramel taste kind of gives me pecan cravings which adding that would be the finishing touch.

Overall

Great tasting ice cream as a whole and it kind of reminded me of the Ben & Jerry’s Sundae Dulce De-lish! If there is one ice cream you want to mix alcohol with, this Fudgy Flan is it. Flavors of dark caramel which gives light coffee taste along with milky chocolate and milky flan taste provide smooth flavors. Great for the summer and great for the alcohol mixers like me. 🙂
