Who wants Trader Joe’s Milk Chocolate Bar with Corn Flakes for breakfast? I know I do and perhaps I might just swap the milk for some Ben & Jerry’s Vanilla Ice Cream. This chocolate bar was on my try list and at last decided to give it a try. Well, there is no question about the chocolate as it’s imported from Belgium, so you know you are getting quality chocolate here. However, Corn Flakes in a cereal sounds a bit itchy to me.
Milk Chocolate with Corn Flakes
Normally, we think of milk and corn flakes but it’s almost good for a change. As I gave my first try, I thought it was just brilliant. It gave me a feeling or rice crisps in a way and kind of like that except its corn flakes. Every now and then the corn flakes flavor comes and goes. However, majority of the time it’s as if its rice crisps instead of corn flakes. The corn flakes are in tiny dots and so much inside that you can bite the crunch out of the chocolate.
High Calories
Pretty good tasting chocolate bar which is loaded with 960 calories for the entire bar as it comes with a serving of 6. The ingredients are good enough for me as it’s okay which I just wish the sugar content was a bit lower. I feel like the corn flakes are sugar coated as it gives me a bit sweeter taste.
Overall
All great from every bite except for the sugar as it feels a bit high. The chocolate is extremely milky and just right for this corn flakes. At Trader Joe’s the price is $2.99 which is available for a limited time. I recommend giving this a try for those who want a rice crisps alternative. However, it just tastes as if it is rice crisps inside so not really that much of a difference. The bite seems a bit more crunchy unless I’m just crunching for fun.
