Randomly came across new sandwich at Costco Food Court and this time it’s Hot Turkey & Provolone Sandwich. I noticed this time that it is hot and ready next to the pizzas and chicken bake. Therefore, you get it quick and warm, but the price remains the same as previous sandwiches which is $6.99. I really think this should be $5 as it’s not really big in size and it’s from Costco. Well, let’s flap our birdy feathers and fly into this sandwich flavors.

Hot Turkey & Provolone Sandwich Review

As soon as you take the first bite, you get plain turkey flavor kind of like you peeled the turkey right off the Thanksgiving dinner. However, as you continue eating the flavors start to take over. I love the amount of red onions used but I think it needs bigger cuts of the tomatoes. The basil garlic mayonnaise is on both sides of the bread and kind of has basil pesto taste to it. A lot of turkey slices on both sides of bread as well but the provolone cheese is hard to find as it’s melted.

Good Tasting

I think with some added lettuce and more cheese along with bigger tomatoes it will deliver more definite taste. I absolutely love the basil garlic mayonnaise and I feel like wanting more of it. Notice how great the bread is cooked which it’s an Artisan Roll Bread.

Overall

I really like the sandwich, but I feel like it’s a bit small for the price. I really think if it was a bit bigger it would satisfy me more. Otherwise, I’m feeling like I need to eat another one which then it would be a bit too pricy. This time I’m having it with Organic Kalamata Olives and poppi grape soda which is the official soda of the Lakers. Also, check out the Turkey Swiss Sandwich that Costco had at the Food Court.
