Wow! I can’t believe I actually paid $19.99 for a Single Strawberry at Erewhon. This is like Bevery Hills of all strawberries. Actually, I did get it from Erewhon the one at Bevery Hills perhaps it just makes sense. I do love the way it is packaged as it kind of reminds me of Beauty and the Beast. For some reason, the design of the package gets me into that mood for that film. Perhaps, it’s a sign to watch that film again.

The Container

On the Packaging it says: “Elly Amai – Anhay Ichigo Farms – Tochigi Prefecture.” When you scan the QR Code in the back it takes you to Elly Amai Site.

The Smell

As soon as you open the package the strawberry smell just takes over the entire room. Pretty sweet and too strong on the smell but smells delicious. It’s kind of like you are holding two boxes of fresh strawberries.

Overall

Well, this was one great experience and pleasure trying this Strawberry from Japan and absolute sweetness. However, it’s way too sweet for me and I prefer eating sour and sweet varieties mixed together. This is a perfect gift to give to anyone, but they are just always sold out.
