Alani NU teams up with Megan Moroney for this Watermelon Wave Energy Drink. Megan Moroney is a singer so this flavor may have something to do with one of her songs. However, for the mean time it is just like a wave of the ocean in flavors. For example, it’s like a watermelon flavor on one wave and a strawberry flavor on another wave. It’s kind of like it takes turns between those two flavors.

I like the Leaves on the Can

Kind of makes me think that a frog is going to jump from one leaf to another. Maybe the frog wants to enjoy and eat some tropics watermelon as well.

Tastes like Candy 

The flavors rotate between candy tasting watermelon and candy tasting strawberries. The watermelon kind of dominates but it’s almost 50/50 with both flavors.

Caffeine 

It has 200mg of caffeine which it doesn’t tell us the source of the caffeine. Just hoping that it is all natural. On top of that I was hoping it didn’t pass 160mg. But I’m just trying this one time due to high caffeine content which I find it not safe. My save zone is 160mg or below with energy drinks.

Artificial Ingredients 

I’m trying to figure out how this is nutritious with artificial sweeteners and preservatives. Luckly, the flavors are natural, but yet they taste like candy.

The can size is 12 Fl Oz which 16 would have been more suiting for me to enjoy with food better. This time, I’m enjoying it with Costco Tiramisu Cheesecake.

Strong Carbonation 

For some reason the gas is pretty strong on this flavor. You could really taste the gas strength taking effect along with the watermelon and strawberry flavors.

Overall, pretty good tasting energy drink just some artificial ingredients along with too much caffeine. The flavor kind of tastes like a woman’s lipstick in watermelon flavors.
