Prime Hydration Drink introduces the Berry Freeze flavor which is just a bit too frosty. This flavor makes me think of sea lions and seals on the icy islands of Alaska. I almost feel like I’m freezing when drinking this Berry Freeze flavor. What I like about this flavor is that I’m not getting artificial sweetener taste. Yes, it does have artificial sweeteners, but they don’t take lead of taste like other Prime hydration drinks do. Instead, they deliver a more natural fruit tone of sweet sugar taste.

Berry Freeze Review

This flavor doesn’t change color like it’s sister Cherry Freeze does. I’m not sure why but it doesn’t even matter as what matters is the product to deliver satisfaction. But does it? I think it does with only one downfall. What downfall? It has artificial sweeteners which are sucralose and acesulfame potassium. Other than that, everything else is a benefit and a satisfying product to me.

Taste

Natural tone of blueberry flavor takes the lead in the taste along with blue raspberry and touch of vanilla twist.

Goes Better with Food

Some hydration drinks are good to go some are just better with food. This one here goes better with food as it delivers natural blueberry flavors. Feels hydrating and refreshing with good size of 16.9 Fl Oz that is minimally perfect for food. My desire amount is 20 to 24 Fl Oz with food but 16.9 works too.

Colors

I don’t see any food colors in the ingredients, therefore the colors are just naturally from its being. It has 10% coconut water which I think is what brings the white color to it. Just to mention no coconut taste at all.

Overall

Give this one a try but I recommend it with food as it goes pretty well. Sweetness feels like its naturally occurring even though it’s not. Good size bottle with good tasting flavor of natural blueberry taking the lead. All said, a fully winning beverage just the artificial sweeteners are making it drown to the bottom of the Alaskan Ocean.
